Q: How large is the St Anne's team?

A: We employ over 1400 staff in a variety of roles across the North of England. We have over 1000 dedicated support workers who provide outstanding support to our clients, we additionally have support roles and management roles which facilitate the running of our services and the development of St Annes.

Q: For some positions, can I work remotely/ hybrid working?

A: Depending on the role and requirements,  we can offer a blended approach to flexible working. We always try to care for all our colleagues and ensure the best work life balance possible.

Q: How can I ask a question I have on one of the job postings?

Q: I don’t have any experience or qualifications

A:  This is not a problem as many people who join St. Anne’s do not have previous experience within social care. All training will be provided as part of your induction programme. 

Q: I have not been in employment for a while. Will this affect my chances of being offered a position?

A:  This is not a barrier to employment with St. Anne’s. All applicants undergo the same application, interview and recruitment process and are offered roles based on merit. 

Q: Is personal care required as part of my role?

A:  This depends entirely on the service and its service users. Many of our services differ but it is quite possible that personal care may be required as part of your role. You will be asked whether you are willing to provide this as part of the application process. 

Q: What happens after I apply for a role?

A; If you are short-listed, you will receive a call from one of our recruitment  team who will arrange with you details of an interview. 

Interview processes are dependant on each specific role.  Following receiving details of an interview, we would encourage you to prepare yourself to share at interview why you're passionate about joining us,

For many of our roles, we will start reviewing applications around two weeks from the date of the job posting - so if you're thinking about working with us, we'd encourage you to apply.

Q: How long does the recruitment process take?

A:  We aim to have new starters starting in their new roles within 8 weeks of the interview date. However, there are external factors that can affect the length of time recruitment checks take such as an individual’s DBS application and references.
